The pens and trinkets were the best. When i got married and had my daughter I took them there and he treated my family like they had been coming for years too. I'm gonna miss sitting at the bar with him, doing our shot, getting my hug and seeing his big smile. <br />heaven waits and welcomes you, jose, cheers!Kellynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6132588878303696867.post-72457368325606639602010-10-12T23:30:11.672-05:002010-10-12T23:30:11.672-05:00I will always miss you Conejito. And as always you were at the bar with your shot of tequila, lime, and beer. You made your way around the tables handing out pens as always. You were always kind and made sure we were taken care of. Now it's your turn to be taken care of up there. For those who knew this gentle soul and Milwaukee's finest host and restaurateur know that there's now a huge void in the universe. Here's hoping there's always a corner stool and shot of tequila waiting for him in heaven and that he shared his salsa Verde recipe with someone before he left us. And that the wonderful Conejito tradition remains.Anne Goodwinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00667826179419337114noreply@blogger.com
